Day 8

one more day of work, i can do this. i can't believe christmas is in a couple days, i'm freaking out about gifts. i haven't gotten anyone anything and i'm insanely poor so my brain is exploding. maybe i'll just splurge and get everyone fancy striped moustaches like mine!

Day 7

today was another lazy do-nothing day. we didn't manage to get ourselves going today until the game at 2. since we live in denver they don't play the minnesota game almost ever. so i watched the broncos game. yeah, the broncos lost and the vikings lost too. humpf! a crappy day for football, but a nice day off. i don't want to work tomorrow!

also, i reinstalled world of warcraft, i'm going to start playing again!

Day 6

today i spent the day with brenden and jessa. even though we were doing errands, it was still pretty fun. for dinner we made spaghetti and homemade sauce and meatballs. we polished off a huge box of wine and played a poor man's UNO card game (called "Phase 10.")

this isnt the best shot ever but it turns out it was the only shot that was usable!

Day 5

ah, the dreaded christmas card photo. nobody wanted to really do it but it had to get done. i couldn't get stuff set up right and brenden was getting burned from the lights so it was a rushed shoot. this is what we ended up with. it's a little dark but i think it's funny.

Day 4

woke up today and didn't feel like doing much of anything, despite being at work. i want to get some great sleep tonight since i feel like i'm lacking! i feel like although this weekend is supposed to be cold and miserable, it will give me time to get all my shit together and reboot. i have a couple books i've really been wanting to read more of!

on another note, i've been feeling stressed because of the holidays. to me, the holidays is opposite sex. it's a buildup of stress and frustration, getting more and more intense until BAM! head explodes annurysm of static-y hair, uncle tommy getting too drunk off eggnog and the faint disappointment creeping in when everyone realizes they didn't really get any of the stuff they wanted.

Day 3

today has been a looooong day. work seemed to crawl by even though i had things to do! i am housesitting this week, and so maybe it's because i miss home. brenden is going to take me to downtown littleton tonight for dinner! we're going to walk around and i'm going to try to take some good pictures of the christmas lights down there.

today i decided to walk around a park for lunch. it isn't as cold as it has been, and the sun felt good!
